Now words are happening

It’s another word I never knew I didn’t know the meaning of.

From reference.com:

foofaraw [foo-fuh-raw] –n
1. a great fuss or disturbance about something very insignificant.
2. an excessive amount of decoration or ornamentation, as on a piece of clothing, a building, etc.

Not only is that a silly sounding and obscure word, but it applies to lots of things I can think of. 99% of content on 24-hour news channels is foofaraw. All celebrity gossip is foofaraw. The hype surrounding twitter: foofaraw. And, naturally, this blog post is a total foofaraw.
